Grist, one of my favorite tech and climate newsletters reports that Barcelona has figured out how to harness and distribute the energy generated when a subway train comes to a stop, sending that energy out to EV chargers throughout the city.

​The world's first floating ecopark in Chicago provides land to improve biodiversity, provide green space, and help filter stormwater when it rains.

reimagine

An herbarium is a surprisingly important learning and conservation tool that requires management. As everything becomes more digitized, Cal Poly Humboldt has also been making a digital 3D herbarium to maintain the visual integrity of the plant. It will be open sourced, so it will reach a much wider audience.
